Company philosophy

Yesterday, today, tomorrow - we are and will remain an authentic original. Since 1979, we have been an agile and strong value-added distributor that is now recognised as an established player in the market. Hardly any other industry is as dynamic as IT.
Therefore, it is all the more valuable that we have been operating successfully as a trustworthy partner for several decades. Targeted customer orientation, quick reaction to market changes and the commitment of our employees have always formed the solid foundation of our corporate philosophy. Our success is based on long-standing and close partnerships with our customers and suppliers, and we would like to express our sincere thanks for this - for 45 years of the CTT brand world.

Foundation of CTT GmbH
In the seventies, Günther Kalina founded CTT Computer-technik, then still as a GmbH (limited liability company)
1979
First official Seagate distributor in Europe
Just three years after its foundation, CTT obtained distributor status from Seagate - the first company in Europe to do so
1982
Entry into PC production
In the early nineties, CTT expanded its portfolio with an in-house PC production facility in Munich
1991
Opening of the CTT online shop
CTT was also a pioneer in the field of e-commerce, opening its first online shop very early on
1996
CTT's transformation into a joint-stock company (AG)
Twenty years after the foundation of the GmbH, CTT changed its legal form and became CTT Computertechnik AG
1999
Expansion of the production facility to include server manufacturing
In addition to PCs, customers could now have servers tailored to their specific needs custom built by CTT

Official Supermicro distributor
The partnership with Supermicro: a perfect extention to server production. Thanks to Supermicro's internal know-how and portfolio, CTT could now respond even more individually and quickly to customer demands

Individual consultation by the pre-sales team
The expansion of the in-house pre-sales team enables personal and individual consultation, especially for complex server configurations

The value-added concept is complemented by CTT services, the next logical step towards becoming a solution provider
